About our office

The Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost champions the University of Minnesota’s academic mission and helps shape its future. As the University’s chief academic officer, the EVPP provides strategic leadership across all five University campuses and serves as the provost for the Twin Cities campus.

Working alongside faculty, staff, students and campus leaders, the EVPP advances excellence in teaching, learning, research and public engagement. The office supports undergraduate, graduate and professional education, strengthens faculty success, oversees academic programs and accreditation, and helps create the conditions for academic innovation to flourish.
