Summary of Proposed Changes

Recommend retiring this as an administrative policy because it does not meet the criteria for an administrative policy in that these do not require or prohibit specific actions of faculty, staff, or students (see Establishing Administrative Policies). Rather, they provide a framework for assessing the learning outcomes of undergraduate students on the Twin Cities campus, and are listed within the Assessment website.

Additionally, these Student Learning and Development Outcomes were originally developed in close consultation with faculty governance, and any future review of--or proposed changes to--these would also derive from a faculty-led process (similar to how Liberal Education Requirements are governed).
