Campus-Specific Credit Requirements

These revisions are proposed in response to questions from academic units and for a desire to have consistency among campuses.

• Clarification on duplicative courses has been made—Students may not use courses to fulfill requirements for more than one major requirement.
• Minimum credits for minors have been established.
• Minimum credits for academic certificates has been established.
• Language around exceptions has been removed. This language was confusing and unnecessary.

These changes are not expected to have impact on currently existing programs. The minimum requirements will be enforced as new programs are being developed moving forward.
